PDHRA IS A MANDATORY SCREENING FOR ALL PERSONNEL.

WHY:
Many deployment related health problems do not become apparent until a soldier has had time to readjust from the deployment. The PDHRA is conducted directly after a soldier leaves theatre; Therefore, the PDHRA is created to address such problems and review the status of the recovery of problems identified in the Post Deployment Health Assessment (PDHA).

WHAT:
PDHRA process consist of an initial brief and self completed computer based survey. Medical professionals then review each soldiers medical records and the survey with the soldier, question by question, to identify and address risks and initiate referrals as necessary.
